U1MS - The Yamaha U3 has been manufactured in Japan since the mid 1950's. The U1MS models were built between in the early 1980s. Over the 50 years plus that Yamaha have been building the U1 model not a lot has changed other than cosmetic differences to the model.

The U1MS offers great value to a player who wants a piano with a rich full sound. 

Yamaha use the best of their timbers to build their U1 series professional uprights. The heart of the piano is the solid Sitka spruce soundboard, which is used to amplify the tone of the piano and produce the sound you hear. Using a solid timber for the soundboard rather than a laminated soundboard gives the piano a bigger and fuller sound.

Buying a used professional series Yamaha piano from Keyboard Corner is ideal for students and advanced players alike. For a similar price point to a new entry level piano you are able to purchase a long term instrument that your children will be able to do all of their exams on and then pass it on to their children.

U1's are very popular choice for established musicians or absolute beginners, the cabinets are in good condition but still have a very affordable price point. Delivery

A piano needs specialised handling and installation. As such every piano is transported by one of Melbourne's best piano handlers. Delivery is included to most Melbourne addresses**.

We can arrange to facilitate delivery outside our local area. If you are outside the Melbourne metropolitan area, please contact us so we can advise if we are able to supply to your area.

Tuning & Setup

Every piano we receive is thoroughly setup and tuned by one of Australia's best piano technicians. All pianos are setup in our showroom and again once your piano is delivered.

We offer a 10 Year warranty on every secondhand Yamaha or Kawai piano we sell. Every instrument is inspected and maintained by a highly qualified technician to ensure that the piano is in the best condition possible. This means that you will receive a piano that will give you many years of playing and create a family heirloom.
