The Jackson Pro Plus Pure Metal Limited Edition Rhoads RR1A in Satin Black is a high-performance electric guitar built for metal players who demand speed, precision, and aggressive tone. Featuring the iconic Rhoads body shape with a neck-through-body construction, this guitar is suited to experienced players and gigging musicians who require a reliable, stage-ready instrument with premium components.
The RR1A is built around a 1-ply grey bound poplar body paired with a three-piece maple neck-through-body construction incorporating graphite reinforcement rods for enhanced stability. The compound radius ebony fingerboard (12" to 16") hosts 24 jumbo stainless steel frets for smooth, effortless bending and long-lasting durability. A single Bare Knuckle Holy Diver bridge humbucker delivers tight, articulate tones across clean and high-gain settings, controlled via a single volume knob. The Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking recessed tremolo system provides stable pitch control for extended techniques such as dive bombs. Additional appointments include Luminlay side-dots, pearloid sharkfin position inlays, locking strap buttons, a grey bound headstock and neck, and a satin colour-matched neck finish. A Jackson gig bag is included.
The 25.5" scale length and compound radius fretboard make this guitar well suited to fast technical playing, while the stainless steel frets offer a notably smooth feel compared to standard nickel-silver frets. The recessed Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo ensures comfortable palm muting and reliable tuning stability under heavy use. The guitar ships strung with nickel plated steel strings in a .009-.042 gauge.
