The Gretsch G2420T Streamliner Hollow Body with Bigsby is a single-cutaway fully hollow archtop electric guitar finished in Brandywine, designed for players who want authentic Gretsch character and versatility at an accessible price point. Featuring a laminated maple hollow body with parallel tone bars, it delivers the warm resonance and full-bodied tone that hollow-body guitars are known for, paired with modern electronics and a Bigsby B60 vibrato tailpiece for expressive playing.

The G2420T is equipped with Broad'Tron BT-3S humbucking pickups, which utilise a combination of Alnico 5 and Alnico 2 magnets to produce stronger mids, tight lows, and smooth highs. A push/pull coil-split on the master volume control expands tonal options by adding single-coil sounds to the mix. The control layout includes individual neck and bridge pickup volume controls, a master tone, and a master volume, along with a three-way toggle switch. The set-neck Nato neck features a soft "C" profile, a 12"-radius laurel fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays, and a real bone nut for reliable intonation and tuning stability.

Hardware is finished in nickel throughout, including die-cast sealed tuning machines and an Adjusto-Matic bridge with a secured laurel base. The Bigsby B60 tailpiece provides smooth vibrato action that suits a wide range of playing styles. The guitar ships with nickel-plated steel strings (.010–.046 gauges), and optional hardshell case and gig bag accessories are available separately. This model is well suited to players exploring jazz, rockabilly, blues, and country styles who want a genuine hollow-body instrument with the classic Gretsch aesthetic.

Versatile Controls with Coil-Splitting
The Streamliner's sonic power is harnessed and shaped by the traditional control layout - neck and bridge pickup volume controls, a master tone control, master volume control and three-way pickup switching.
The addition of a push/pull pot on the master volume control allows coil-splitting to provide useful single coil sounds, adding another layer of tonal versatility to an already strong sonic arsenal.
