Gretsch Streamliner CVT, Laurel Fingerboard, Jet Black

The Gretsch Streamliner CVT is a solid body electric guitar designed for players seeking genuine Gretsch character at an accessible price point. Built around a mahogany body with beveled contours and a rounded heel, the CVT offers comfortable playability whether the player is a beginner looking for an easy-handling first electric or an experienced guitarist wanting a no-fuss gigging instrument. The double cutaway body shape provides full access to the upper frets, and the high gloss Jet Black finish gives it a clean, classic look.

The Streamliner CVT features a bolt-on mahogany neck with a Fast "C" profile — a shallower, rounded contour with tapered shoulders suited to a wide range of hand sizes. A 24.88" scale length pairs with a 12"-radius bound Indian Laurel fingerboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, and Pearloid Neo-Classic Thumbnail inlays for a comfortable, vintage-inspired playing surface. Gretsch's Pitch-Perfect head angle reduces string tension at the nut for improved tuning stability, complemented by a GraphTech NuBone nut that contributes to balanced tone and consistent string release. The compensated wraparound bridge keeps intonation accurate across the neck. Electronics consist of a pair of HotWire High Output Ceramic Humbuckers — vacuum wax-potted to minimise interference — controlled by a master volume, master tone, and a three-position toggle switch.

Strung with Nickel Plated Steel .010–.046 strings and fitted with die-cast sealed tuning machines, the Streamliner CVT is ready to play straight out of the box. A 1-ply black pickguard, chrome hardware, numbered black speed knobs, and Gretsch's distinctive Split-V headstock complete the package.
