Fender Godzilla Distortion

The Fender Godzilla Distortion is a compact, kaiju-themed distortion pedal designed for guitarists seeking powerful, versatile gain tones. Built around an op amp-based circuit, it delivers low-noise, high-output saturation suitable for everything from thick rhythm chugging to cutting lead work. Housed in a rugged aluminium enclosure with exclusive Godzilla wrap-around artwork, it suits players who want both sonic muscle and a visually distinctive addition to their pedalboard.

The pedal features an active 2-band EQ with independent Treble and Bass controls, each capable of up to 15dB of boost or cut, allowing players to shape their tone before or after the gain stage. An internal mid-range trimmer provides further fine-tuning, enabling mid-scooped or mid-forward voicings without external controls cluttering the interface. The Distortion knob governs the overall saturation level. True bypass switching keeps the signal path clean and uncoloured when the pedal is disengaged, and top-mounted jacks help maintain a tidy pedalboard layout.

Power is supplied via a standard 9-volt battery or a centre-negative AC adaptor (not included), with a current draw of 80mA. The compact footprint — 62mm wide by 112mm long by 56mm deep — leaves room for additional pedals on the board. The aluminium enclosure and metal hardware are built for road use.
