Behringer MicroMon MA400 Ultra-Compact Monitor Headphone Amplifier

The Behringer MicroMon MA400 is an ultra-compact personal monitor headphone amplifier designed for performers who need greater control over their own monitor mix on stage or in the studio. Its small footprint makes it easy to place on a pedalboard, drum riser, or keyboard stand, and it is well suited to singers, drummers, keyboardists, and anyone requiring a dedicated headphone or in-ear monitor feed independent of the front-of-house mix.

The MA400 provides a flexible Mic In and Mic Thru (XLR) signal path, allowing performers to connect their microphone directly to the unit and pass the signal through to the main mixer without interruption. A Ground Lift switch helps eliminate unwanted hum and interference. The stereo Monitor input accepts the monitor feed from the main mixer and features a dedicated Monitor Level control, with a Mono/Stereo switch to suit different monitoring preferences. Both 1/4" and 1/8" headphone outputs are included, making the MA400 compatible with standard headphones as well as earbuds and hardwired in-ear monitors (IEMs). The unit passes +48V phantom power from the mixer, supporting the use of studio-grade condenser microphones. A 12V DC power supply is included, and an LED power indicator confirms when the unit is active.

The MA400 allows independent level control of two sources — a microphone and a monitor feed — giving performers a practical solution for managing their personal mix without relying on the front-of-house engineer. Its compact size and included power supply mean it is ready to use straight out of the box, whether for live performance or studio tracking sessions.
