Cort CR200 Electric Guitar - Gold Top

The Cort CR200 Gold Top is a single-cutaway electric guitar from Cort's Classic Rock Series, designed for players seeking vintage-inspired tone and aesthetics at an accessible price point. With its mahogany body and set-neck construction, it suits guitarists interested in classic rock, blues, and hard rock styles who want a guitar that looks and feels the part without breaking the budget.

The CR200 features an all-mahogany body paired with a mahogany set neck and a Jatoba fingerboard with a 12-inch radius and rectangular white pearl inlays. The guitar is equipped with Cort Voiced Tone VTH-59 pickups — PAF-inspired humbuckers using Alnico II magnets and 0.06-inch custom gauge coils — controlled via two volume and two tone controls with a three-way pickup selector switch. Hardware includes a Tune-O-Matic bridge with stop tailpiece, vintage-style tuning machines, and aged white binding, all finished in nickel. The nut is made from PPS material at 42mm width, and the guitar ships with D'Addario EXL110 strings.

The set-neck joint contributes to sustained resonance and a focused midrange character, while the mahogany construction adds warmth and body to the overall tone. The 24.75-inch scale length and 22-fret fingerboard keep the feel familiar for players coming from similar vintage-style instruments. The Gold Top finish gives it a classic look consistent with the CR Series aesthetic.
