Cort Exotic-SFX Myrtle - Sunburst

The Cort Exotic-SFX Myrtle is an acoustic-electric guitar suited to players who want a versatile, visually distinctive instrument that performs equally well on stage and in the practice room. Built around a solid spruce top with Myrtlewood back and sides, this guitar delivers a balanced tonal character that responds well across a broad range of playing styles, from fingerpicking to strumming. The Venetian cutaway body shape makes it a practical choice for players who regularly work in the upper register.

The guitar features a solid spruce top braced with Advanced X-Bracing for improved resonance and long-term structural stability. Myrtlewood back and sides provide warm, organic figuring and contribute to clear note separation across the dynamic range. The mahogany neck is finished in gloss and carries a C shape profile, with a laurel fingerboard featuring a 15.75" radius and 20 frets. Electronics are handled by the Cort CE304T onboard system, allowing direct connection to a PA or amplifier without additional pickups or modifications. Additional appointments include die-cast tuners with aged white knobs, aged white binding, a gapless aged white and black ABS rosette, and coated strings for extended string life.

The SFX body shape combines a full-size acoustic sound chamber with a slimmed-down profile, which reduces physical fatigue during extended playing sessions. The dovetail neck joint meets the body at the 14th fret, and the scale length is 25.5" (648mm). The nut width of 1 11/16" (43mm) suits a wide range of hand sizes.
