The guitar is constructed around a classic alder body finished in gloss urethane, paired with a maple neck featuring a Modern "C" profile and a satin urethane back finish for smooth, comfortable playing. The 9.5"-radius slab maple fingerboard features hand-rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets, facilitating fluid lead playing and choke-free bends. Pickups are Player Series Alnico V Single-Coil Tele units in both neck and bridge positions, delivering crystalline highs, musical mids, and tight lows. A 3-way blade switch covers bridge-only, bridge-and-neck, and neck-only positions. Hardware appointments include a 6-saddle string-through-body bridge with block steel saddles, ClassicGear tuning machines with an 18:1 gear ratio, and a commemorative 75th Anniversary neck plate. The pickguard is 3-ply parchment with nickel/chrome hardware throughout.

In practical terms, the string-through-body bridge design enhances sustain and intonation stability, while the ClassicGear tuners provide precise, smooth tuning adjustment. The rolled fingerboard edges give the neck a slightly broken-in feel that reduces fatigue during extended playing sessions.
