The Fender American Professional Jazz Bass in 3-Color Sunburst with maple fingerboard is a USA-made, professional-grade electric bass built on the enduring Jazz Bass platform. Suited to gigging and recording musicians who demand a refined, responsive instrument with classic Fender aesthetics, this model delivers the familiar offset-waist body in alder, paired with a maple neck and maple fingerboard for a bright, articulate tone character.

At the heart of this bass are two V-Mod III single-coil Jazz Bass pickups, voiced to deliver punch, clarity and vintage warmth in a modern, high-output package. Controls consist of individual volume knobs for each pickup plus a master tone control, with ClassicGear Precision Potentiometers providing smooth, consistent response across all three. The maple neck carries Fender's Slim "C" profile with smooth rolled fingerboard edges and a sculpted neck heel for improved access to the upper register. The back of the neck receives a "Super-Natural" satin urethane finish for a fast, broken-in feel, while the headstock face is finished in gloss urethane. The maple fingerboard features a 9.5" radius, 20 Narrow Tall frets, black dot inlays and a 1.5" bone nut. Posiflex graphite rods beneath the fingerboard reinforce the neck against environmental movement. Hardware throughout is nickel/chrome, including Fender Lightweight Vintage-Style tuning keys with tapered shafts and a 4-saddle HiMass Pro bridge supporting both string-through-body and top-load stringing. A 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard and vintage-style black Jazz Bass control knobs complete the classic visual presentation. A Deluxe Molded hardshell case is included.
