The Fender American Professional Stratocaster HSS is a USA-built electric guitar that brings together the timeless Stratocaster platform with a suite of contemporary performance refinements. Finished in Aged Cherry Burst over an ash body with a rosewood fingerboard, this instrument suits players who want the classic Strat feel and aesthetic alongside upgraded electronics, hardware and construction details. It is manufactured at Fender's Corona, California facility and ships with a Fender Deluxe Molded hardshell case.

The guitar features a Deep "C"-shaped maple neck with rolled fingerboard edges and a "Super-Natural" satin urethane finish on the back, paired with a newly sculpted neck heel for improved upper-fret access. The 9.5" (241 mm) radius rosewood fingerboard carries 22 narrow tall frets and a bone nut (1.685" / 42.8 mm), providing a comfortable playing surface suited to a wide range of techniques. Electronics consist of two V-Mod III Single-Coil Strat pickups at the neck and middle positions and a V-Mod III humbucking pickup at the bridge, controlled by a 5-position blade switch and a push-push tone control that activates coil-splitting on the bridge humbucker. ClassicGear™ Precision™ Potentiometers handle the master volume and two tone controls. The upgraded 2-point synchronised tremolo uses a cold-rolled steel block and ClassicGear™ Radial™ bent-steel saddles, with a pop-in tremolo arm and Fender® Standard Cast/Sealed Staggered tuning machines completing the hardware complement.

In use, the ash body contributes a slightly brighter character compared to alder-bodied variants, complementing the clarity of the V-Mod III pickup set. The coil-split function on the bridge humbucker expands tonal versatility, enabling the guitar to move between full humbucking output and calibrated single-coil sounds. The Micro-Tilt™ adjustment on the 4-bolt asymmetrical neck plate allows for convenient neck angle adjustment without removing the neck. The included Fender Deluxe Molded Case provides solid protection for transport and storage.

The V-Mod III humbucking bridge pickup delivers thick, powerful tones with the same voicing philosophy - punchy and articulate with full-frequency response that cuts through any mix.

SCULPTED NECK HEEL
The rounded neck heel and beveled neck-plate improve access to the upper register and make leads easy and comfortable.

2-POINT TREMOLO WITH CLASSICGEAR™ RADIAL™ BENT-STEEL SADDLES
This Stratocaster features a two-point tremolo bridge with ClassicGear™ Radial™ bent-steel saddles for superior tuning stability, tremolo action and ease of adjustment – with an upgraded cold-rolled steel block that increases sustain, clarity and high-end sparkle. The ClassicGear™ saddles deliver effortless intonation and action adjustments with recessed screws that stay out of your way no matter how hard you play.

DEEP "C” NECK PROFILE WITH ROLLED FINGERBOARD EDGES
Delivering both comfort and speed, the American Professional Deep “C” neck profile is slim at the nut and fills out gradually as it approaches the neck joint to create a natural feel that’s perfect for chording and single note playing alike. The hand-rolled fingerboard edges and Super-Natural satin finish provide a supremely comfortable feel.

SPECIAL ELECTRONICS
A performance-friendly push-push switch on the second tone control taps the V-Mod III humbucking bridge pickup to single-coil mode, unlocking crisp, clear single-coil tones without any volume loss — making it easy to adjust your sound mid-performance.
