Fender California Deluxe Newporter CE, Walnut Fingerboard, White Blonde

The Fender California Deluxe Newporter CE is an acoustic-electric guitar from the California Series, suited to players who want a comfortable, cutaway auditorium-body instrument with reliable on-stage electronics. The distinctive Newporter body shape with its sloped shoulder silhouette and Florentine cutaway gives players unrestricted access to the upper register, making it well suited to songwriting, live performance, rehearsal and recording applications. Available here in White Blonde with a walnut fingerboard.

The body features a solid Sitka spruce top reinforced by scalloped X-bracing, with laminated mahogany back and sides, a tortoiseshell body binding, and a pearloid rosette. The slim "C"-shaped mahogany neck carries a satin urethane finish, a 12" radius walnut fingerboard with white dot inlays, a Micarta nut and saddle, 20 frets, and a 25.5" (648 mm) scale length. A dual-action truss rod and sealed die-cast split-shaft chrome tuning machines support tuning stability. The guitar ships strung with phosphor bronze strings (.011–.052 gauges) and features a Jaguar®-style tilt-back 6-in-line headstock drawn from Fender's electric guitar heritage.

For amplified performance, the Newporter CE is fitted with a Fishman® CD-1 preamp system offering volume, bass, treble, tuner, and phase controls. The Modern Viking bridge with ivory/black-dot bridge pins and a 1-ply tortoiseshell pickguard complete the specification.
