Fender Limited Edition Player II Stratocaster, Chambered Ash Body, Roasted Maple Neck with Rosewood Fingerboard, Sonic Blue

The Fender Limited Edition Player II Stratocaster in Sonic Blue is a special-run electric guitar that builds on the acclaimed Player II platform with a selection of premium tonewoods and finishing touches not found on the standard range. Fitted with a chambered ash body, roasted maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard, this guitar is suited to players seeking a lightweight, resonant instrument with classic Stratocaster playability and a distinctive vintage-inspired aesthetic.

The chambered ash body reduces overall weight while contributing to an airy, open tone with enhanced resonance. The roasted maple neck offers improved stability against humidity and temperature changes, along with a smooth, satin feel. The rosewood fingerboard provides a warm playing experience underfoot, complementing the Sonic Blue finish for a refined, vintage-leaning look. Player II series appointments include updated pickups and hardware refinements consistent with the broader Player II family, delivering versatile Stratocaster tones across a wide range of playing styles.

As a limited edition model, this Stratocaster is produced in finite quantities, making it a considered purchase for players who want a step above the standard Player II offering. The combination of chambered ash, roasted maple, and rosewood is well regarded for its tonal character and playing comfort, and the Sonic Blue finish adds a period-correct visual appeal that sits naturally alongside the guitar's vintage-informed design.
