Fender Limited Edition Player II Telecaster, Rosewood Fingerboard, Lavender Haze

The Fender Limited Edition Player II Telecaster in Lavender Haze is a Mexican-made electric guitar that pairs the timeless Telecaster body shape with a striking Lavender Haze finish and a suite of carefully considered upgrades. Suited to players who want the classic Telecaster platform with enhanced tonal versatility, this instrument features proprietary Fender "Full Dip" AlNiCo 2 single-coil pickups developed in collaboration with Chicago Music Exchange, wound 5% over standard to deliver added warmth and grit while retaining the Telecaster's characteristic snap and clarity.

The guitar is built around an alder body with a gloss polyester finish, paired with a maple neck finished in satin urethane on the back and gloss urethane on the headstock face. The modern "C"-shaped neck features a slab rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges, a 9.5" (241mm) radius, 22 medium-jumbo frets, and white dot inlays. Hardware includes Fender ClassicGear tuning machines, a 6-saddle string-through-body Telecaster bridge with block steel saddles, and a 3-ply parchment pickguard with aged plastic parts throughout. A key feature of this model is the 4-position blade switch, which adds a series pickup configuration (Position 4: neck and bridge in series) not found on standard Telecaster wiring, expanding the available tonal palette considerably.

Set up from the factory in E Standard tuning, this Telecaster is a practical choice for rehearsal, recording, and live performance. The 25.5" scale length and 4-bolt neck joint are consistent with traditional Telecaster construction, offering reliable playability and familiar feel. The Lavender Haze finish is a limited colourway exclusive to this release, making it a distinctive option for players who want something visually unique without departing from proven Telecaster fundamentals.
