Fender Made in Japan Traditional 60s Jaguar, Rosewood Fingerboard, 3-Color Sunburst

The Fender Made in Japan Traditional 60s Jaguar® is an electric guitar from the Made in Japan Traditional series, which combines Fender's classic instrument-making heritage with the precision craftsmanship associated with Japanese manufacturing. This model is well suited to players seeking authentic vintage Jaguar® tones and playability, whether they are experienced guitarists familiar with the original 1960s designs or those discovering the Jaguar® for the first time.

The guitar features a basswood body with a gloss polyester finish in the classic Jaguar® silhouette. The maple neck has a "U" shape profile with a gloss urethane finish and a 9.5-inch radius rosewood fingerboard carrying 22 vintage-style frets and pearl dot position inlays. The bone nut measures 1.578 inches (40 mm) in width. Electronics consist of two vintage-style single-coil Jaguar® pickups in an SS configuration, controlled by the traditional Jaguar® lead and rhythm circuit arrangement: the lead circuit (slide switch down) offers master volume and master tone controls, while the rhythm circuit (slide switch up) provides two thumbwheel controls for neck pickup volume and tone. Individual on/off slide switches allow each pickup to be engaged or disengaged independently. Hardware includes a 6-saddle vintage-style adjustable bridge with a floating tremolo tailpiece, vintage-style tuning machines, nickel/chrome hardware finish, and a 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard.

With a 24-inch (610 mm) scale length and vintage fret size, this guitar delivers the characteristic feel and response associated with the original Jaguar® design. It is supplied with a gig bag and represents a practical option for players who want a Japan-made Fender with traditional specifications at a mid-range price point. The floating tremolo system and dual-circuit electronics provide tonal flexibility suited to a range of playing styles from surf and indie to alternative rock.
