Fender Quantum LT16 16x8 USB-C Audio Interface

The Fender Quantum LT 16 is a 16-in, 8-out USB-C audio interface designed for project studios, multi-instrument setups, and electronic musicians who require maximum input flexibility. Equipped with eight MAX-HD mic preamps offering 75 dB of gain, the LT 16 is suited to capturing large ensembles, drum kits, and multi-mic recording sessions with clarity and low noise. It includes a perpetual licence for Fender Studio Pro, a professional DAW featuring exclusive Mustang and Rumble plug-ins, allowing users to get started straight away.

The LT 16 provides a total of 14 analogue line inputs: six front-panel XLR/TRS combo jacks (inputs 3–8) and eight rear-panel TRS inputs with switchable +4 dBu / -10 dBV operation for connecting outboard mic preamps, synthesisers, mixers, and other line-level devices. Dual Fender-designed instrument inputs on the front panel are optimised for guitars, basses, and similar sources. Balanced TRS outputs and a headphone amplifier offer versatile monitoring options. Custom low-latency drivers for macOS and Windows deliver a responsive recording experience.

Beyond standard interface operation, the LT 16 includes several practical features for expanded studio use. A standalone Mic Pre Mode allows the unit to function as an 8-channel mic preamp independently of a computer. DC-coupled outputs enable control voltage (CV) signals to be sent directly to modular and analogue synthesiser gear from a DAW. Onboard 5-pin MIDI I/O provides direct integration with keyboards, drum machines, and hardware sequencers without requiring an additional MIDI interface. Loopback audio support makes the unit suitable for streaming and podcasting workflows.
