Gretsch Broadkaster Jr. LX Center Block with String-Thru Bigsby and Gold Hardware, Ebony Fingerboard, Blackberry

The Gretsch Broadkaster Jr. LX Center Block is part of the Professional Collection, combining classic Gretsch aesthetics with modern performance features suited to players who demand full-spectrum tone and dynamic control at high volume. Built around a redesigned Channel Core™ centre block — a combination of maple and spruce — this single-cutaway semi-hollow guitar delivers faster note attack and enhanced midrange punch. Available here in Blackberry with an ebony fingerboard and gold hardware, it is well suited to gigging and studio players alike who want versatile, powerful tone in a refined Gretsch package.

The Broadkaster Jr. LX features Pro Twin Six™ humbucking pickups, with an Alnico 5 neck pickup (approximately 5.5k DCR) for warm, clear tones and an Alnico 4 bridge pickup (approximately 12k DCR) delivering bright clarity, focused lows, and articulate highs. The electronics layout includes individual volume controls for each pickup, a master volume with treble bleed circuit, and a master no-load tone control with a "Squeezebox" capacitor, giving players broad tonal flexibility. A string-thru Bigsby® B7GP vibrato tailpiece and Adjusto-Matic™ bridge provide classic Gretsch feel with enhanced tuning stability, complemented by Gotoh® locking tuners and a Graph Tech® TUSQ® XL nut.

The neck is a standard "U"-shaped maple set-neck with a 24.6" scale length, topped with a 12"-radius ebony fingerboard featuring rolled edges, 22 medium jumbo frets, pearloid Neo-Classic™ thumbnail inlays, and Luminlay® glow-in-the-dark side dots for visibility in low-light settings. The body is constructed from laminated maple with an arched top and back, finished in gloss Blackberry with aged white binding and B/W/B purfling. Gold hardware throughout, including a gold plexi pickguard with Gretsch® logo, G-Arrow control knobs, and Grover® strap locks. A G6241JR Gretsch® deluxe hardshell case is included.
