The Gretsch Electromatic Jet Baritone is a solid-body baritone electric guitar built for players who need extended low-end range without sacrificing playability or tonal character. With a 29.75" scale length and strings gauged .013–.065, it suits guitarists exploring down-tuned genres, ambient textures, or simply after a thicker, more powerful tone palette. The Imperial Stain finish gives it a dark, refined aesthetic that complements its weighty sonic character.

The guitar is built around a chambered mahogany body with a carved maple top, delivering a combination of warm lows, present mid-range, and clear highs. The bolt-on maple neck features a Performance "C" profile and carries a 12"-radius bound rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, Pearloid Neo-Classic Thumbnail inlays, and aged white binding. A GraphTech NuBone nut aids tuning stability under the extra string tension typical of baritone instruments. Electronics consist of two PureVolt Twin Six humbuckers — Alnico IV at the neck, Alnico V at the bridge — each with twelve adjustable pole pieces. The control layout includes a master volume with treble-bleed circuit, individual tone controls per pickup, and push/pull tone pots that split each humbucker to a true single-coil. In the middle toggle position the split single coils combine as a hum-cancelling pair. Hardware includes an Adjusto-Matic bridge with stoptail tailpiece and nickel-finish die-cast sealed tuners.

The sculpted forearm contour and rounded heel contribute to comfortable playing across long sessions. The push/pull coil-split functionality adds considerable tonal flexibility, making this instrument practical across a wide range of playing styles from heavy riff-oriented music to more nuanced clean work. The Electromatic Jet Baritone is supplied with a nickel hardware finish throughout and a black plexi pickguard.
