The Jackson X Series Dinky® Arch Top DKAF7 MS is a 7-string multi-scale electric guitar designed for players seeking improved ergonomics, extended range, and enhanced intonation. The multi-scale design accommodates two scale lengths — 25.5" to 27" — on a single fingerboard, offering more comfortable fretting across the neck whilst improving string tension and intonation, particularly on the lower strings. This model is suited to metal and hard rock players looking for a high-performance instrument at an accessible price point, finished in Stained Mahogany with black hardware.

The guitar is built around a poplar Dinky® body with an arched top and a satin finish. The one-piece bolt-on maple neck features graphite reinforcement and a scarf joint for increased headstock angle and improved string tension behind the nut, eliminating the need for string trees. The laurel fingerboard has a 12"-16" compound radius and carries 24 jumbo frets with offset pearloid dot inlays. Electronics consist of dual Jackson® uncovered 7-string blade humbucking pickups controlled by a 3-position toggle switch with single volume and tone controls. Staggered individual bridge saddles are fitted to accommodate the dual scale lengths and assist with intonation. Tuning is handled by Jackson® sealed die-cast machines on the signature AT-1 4x3 headstock.

ONE-PIECE BOLT-ON MAPLE NECK WITH GRAPHITE REINFORCEMENT AND SCARF JOINT
A type of neck constructed with a scarf joint for an angled back headstock, which in turn increases the tension behind the nut eliminating the need for string trees and/or string retainer bars. The bolt-on neck joins the neck to the body of the guitar with screws or bolts, allowing for more control, attack and sustain.
