K&K Pickup-Bug Internal Double Twin Spot

The K&K Twin Spot Internal is a two-head piezo transducer pickup designed for a wide variety of acoustic instruments, including guitar, oud, saz, bouzouki, balalaika, cello, dulcimer, bongos, and more. It suits players who need a discreet, no-solder internal installation and a natural, balanced amplified tone from instruments that may not support conventional pickup systems.

The Twin Spot Internal features two small pickup heads, each just 1/2 inch in diameter and 1/32 inch in height, allowing installation in tight or hard-to-reach areas of an instrument. Positioning the heads at two different spots produces a more balanced sound structure and a broader frequency range than a single-point transducer. The heads are attached using a UV-resistant double-sided adhesive film that is ultra-thin, allowing harmonic frequencies to pass fully through to the pickup disks. The internal jack is a shielded endpin jack (stereo type, connected mono) that can be mounted from the outside with no soldering required.

Each pickup head connects via a 1-foot cable, giving reasonable flexibility in placement within the instrument body. The no-solder endpin jack makes this pickup accessible for players who want a permanent internal installation without specialist wiring knowledge. The UV-resistant adhesive ensures long-term reliability even with extended use.
