Maton EM-6 Mini Maton - Halo Burst

**ONE-OFF CUSTOM HALO BURST FINISH**

The Maton EM6 Mini Maton is a compact acoustic-electric guitar built in Australia, suited to players seeking a smaller-bodied instrument without compromising on tone or build quality. It represents a significant evolution of the earlier EML6 model, retaining the hallmarks that made that guitar popular while introducing meaningful upgrades in materials, bracing, and electronics. It is an ideal choice for travelling musicians, younger players, or anyone who prefers a more manageable body size.

The EM6 features a solid Bunya top paired with solid Queensland Maple back and sides — a step up from the laminated maple used on its predecessor — resulting in a fuller, richer acoustic tone that continues to open up as the timber matures. The neck is also Queensland Maple, topped with an Indian Rosewood fingerboard and complemented by an Indian Rosewood bridge with split saddle for improved intonation. Bracing has been updated to Maton's Mini Maton Double X pattern, which improves both structural integrity and tonal response. The guitar is fitted with Maton's AP5 Original onboard pickup system, Chrome Grover Rotomatic machine heads, and bone nut and saddle. It comes strung with Elixir Nanoweb Phosphor Bronze 13–56 strings and includes a Maton Standard Mini Hardcase.

With a 22.7" scale length and a nut width of 1.736", the EM6 offers a comfortable playing feel well-suited to smaller hands or those transitioning from a half or three-quarter size instrument. The 19-fret Indian Rosewood fingerboard with a 12" radius and 6mm pearl dot inlays provides a familiar and practical layout. The satin finish on both the top and back and sides keeps the aesthetic understated while allowing the timber to breathe. Responsibly sourced materials are used throughout, consistent with Maton's sustainability commitments.
