The Fender Player II Modified Stratocaster in 3-Colour Sunburst with Maple Fingerboard is a Mexico-made electric guitar that blends classic Stratocaster styling with a range of factory-installed performance upgrades. Suited to intermediate and advancing players who want hum-free single-coil tone, improved tuning stability, and added tonal versatility without the need for aftermarket modifications, this instrument arrives ready to perform straight out of the case. 

The guitar is built around a solid alder body with a gloss polyester finish, paired with a maple neck featuring a Modern "C" profile and satin urethane finish. The one-piece maple fingerboard has a 9.5" radius with rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets for comfortable, choke-free bends. A TUSQ nut and modern dual-wing string tree contribute to smooth tuning response, while Deluxe Cast/Sealed Locking tuning machines (all short posts) lock strings in quickly and hold pitch reliably. The 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo with block steel saddles and a chamfered tremolo block allows a wider range of vibrato travel than a standard bent-steel setup. Electronics feature three Player II Noiseless Strat single-coil pickups (SSS configuration), delivering classic Stratocaster chime and sparkle while rejecting unwanted hum. A master volume control includes a treble-bleed circuit to preserve high-end detail when rolling back volume. Tone 1 governs the neck and middle pickups; Tone 2 governs the bridge pickup and incorporates a push/pull switch that adds the neck pickup into selector positions 1 and 2 for additional tonal combinations. The pickguard is 4-ply tortoiseshell with aged white hardware accents.
