The Squier Mini Precision Bass in 2-Color Sunburst is a short-scale electric bass designed for players who benefit from a smaller, lighter instrument — including younger beginners, travellers, and those with smaller hands. Built around a thin and lightweight poplar body, it delivers the classic Precision Bass silhouette in a more accessible and comfortable form factor, making it an ideal first bass or a practical practice instrument.

The Mini Precision Bass is equipped with a split single-coil Precision Bass pickup that produces the fat, punchy tone the P-Bass is known for, paired with volume and tone controls for straightforward sound shaping. The short-scale maple neck features a comfortable "C"-shaped profile, an Indian Laurel fingerboard with a 9.5" radius and pearloid dot inlays, 20 narrow tall frets, and a nut width of 1.5". A 4-saddle vintage-style hardtail bridge provides solid intonation and tuning stability, complemented by sealed die-cast tuning machines for smooth, reliable tuning performance.

With a scale length of 28.6" (726 mm), the Mini Precision Bass is noticeably easier to play than a full-scale bass, reducing both string tension and the reach required between fret positions. The gloss polyurethane body finish and chrome hardware give it a polished appearance, while the 1-ply white pickguard and 2-Color Sunburst finish contribute to the classic Fender aesthetic.
