The Squier Sonic Precision Bass in Midnight Blue is an entry-to-intermediate electric bass guitar that delivers classic Precision Bass style and tone in a lightweight, comfortable package. Suited to beginners and developing players alike, this instrument offers genuine Fender-voiced pickup performance and a familiar P Bass body shape at an accessible price point.

The bass features a thin, lightweight poplar body finished in gloss polyurethane, paired with a bolt-on maple neck in a slim "C" profile. The Indian Laurel fingerboard has a 9.5" radius with 20 narrow tall frets and pearloid dot inlays, while a 1.5" nut width contributes to comfortable playability across a range of hand sizes. A ceramic split single-coil pickup voiced by Fender provides punchy, articulate bass tone, controlled via master volume and master tone knobs. Hardware includes a 4-saddle standard hardtail bridge for precise intonation, vintage-style open-gear tuning machines, chrome-plated hardware throughout, a 1-ply white pickguard, and a 4-bolt Squier neck plate.

The Squier Sonic Precision Bass ships with nickel-plated steel strings (.045–.105 gauges) and includes a saddle height wrench (1.5mm hex), truss rod wrench (4mm hex/Allen), and features a head-adjust truss rod for straightforward neck relief adjustments.
