The Squier Sonic Mustang in Daphne Blue is a short-scale electric guitar designed for players at any level who want classic Fender-inspired style and versatile tone in a comfortable, lightweight package. Built around a poplar body with a slim "C"-shaped maple neck and a 24-inch scale length, this guitar is particularly well suited to beginners, younger players, or anyone who finds full-scale instruments a little demanding to play.

The Sonic Mustang is equipped with two ceramic single-coil pickups voiced for crisp, articulate tone across a range of playing styles. A 3-position toggle switch allows selection of the bridge pickup, both pickups together, or the neck pickup, with master volume and master tone controls rounding out the electronics. Hardware includes a 6-saddle top-load hardtail bridge with block saddles for reliable intonation, die-cast sealed tuning machines for smooth and stable tuning, and chrome-plated hardware throughout. The maple fingerboard features a 9.5-inch radius, 22 narrow tall frets, and black dot position inlays.

The neck carries a satin urethane finish for a comfortable, fast feel, while the body is finished in gloss polyurethane. The guitar ships strung with nickel plated steel strings (.009–.042 gauges) and includes a 1.5mm hex wrench for saddle height adjustment and a 4mm hex wrench for truss rod adjustment.

A 6-saddle hardtail bridge allows for individual height and intonation adjustment of each string for optimal performance.

Voiced in-house at Fender, these Squier single-coil pickups produce crisp, articulate tone for a wide variety of styles.

SEALED DIE-CAST TUNING MACHINES
