The Squier Sonic Stratocaster (Maple Fingerboard, White Pickguard, 2-Color Sunburst) is an electric guitar suited to players at any stage, from beginners picking up their first instrument to experienced players seeking a reliable and affordable Stratocaster. It features the classic Stratocaster body shape in a thin, lightweight Poplar construction finished in a gloss polyurethane 2-Color Sunburst, paired with a maple fingerboard for a bright, snappy feel.

The guitar is equipped with three ceramic Squier single-coil pickups in an SSS configuration, voiced for crisp and articulate tone across a wide range of musical styles. A 5-position blade switch provides versatile pickup selection, while individual volume and tone controls allow for nuanced sound shaping. The 6-saddle vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge with block saddles allows for expressive vibrato use, and sealed die-cast tuning machines contribute to stable, accurate tuning. Hardware is finished in chrome throughout, with a 1-ply white pickguard and white plastic control knobs and switch tip.

The neck is a bolt-on maple construction with a comfortable "C" shape profile and a satin urethane finish, featuring a 9.5" fingerboard radius, 21 narrow tall frets, black dot position inlays, and a synthetic bone nut at 1.650" width. The 25.5" scale length is standard for Stratocaster-style instruments.
