Taylor Next Generation 314ce - Spruce/Sapele

The Taylor 314ce Next Generation is a 6-string acoustic-electric guitar from Taylor's 300 Series, built around a Grand Auditorium body with a Venetian cutaway. It suits a wide range of players — from home musicians to gigging performers — who want an all-solid tonewood instrument with versatile tone, comfortable playability, and reliable onboard electronics. The combination of a Sitka spruce top with sapele back and sides delivers a punchy, well-balanced sound that works equally well for fingerstyle and strumming.

Three key innovations set this Next Generation model apart from its predecessor. The new scalloped V-Class bracing system increases volume, sustain, and pitch accuracy while adding low-end richness. The Action Control Neck — a long-tenon joint design — not only boosts warmth and resonance but also allows players to adjust string height themselves without a full setup. Onboard Claria System electronics feature a reimagined piezo pickup with soundhole-mounted controls, providing clear and versatile amplified tone. The guitar is finished in gloss on the body with a satin neck, and features Weathervane inlays in Italian acrylic, a firestripe pickguard, nickel tuners, and black binding with black and white purfling. A Brown Taylor Deluxe Hard Shell Case is included.
