Yamaha CK76 Stage Keyboard

The Yamaha CK76 is a 76-key stage keyboard that combines piano, electric piano, organ and synth sounds in one portable instrument. It has built-in speakers and can run on batteries, so it suits gigging players, home users and anyone who wants to set up in different spaces without extra equipment.

The CK76 draws on Yamaha's CP stage piano and YC stage keyboard sounds. Piano voices come from the CFX, S700 and CF3 grands and the U1 upright, alongside vintage electric pianos, Clavi sounds and FM electric pianos. A dedicated organ section has nine drawbars, plus controls for rotary speaker, percussion and vibrato/chorus. The synth section offers filter and envelope generator controls, mono mode and Unison mode. Key features include:

• 76 keys with Future System Basic (FSB) action, with a heavier initial key resistance and increased key travel
• Three parts for splits, layers and mixing from the front panel
• Drive, Effects 1 and Effects 2 processors, plus an A/D Input with two dedicated effects
• Live Sets that store and recall front panel settings, including splits, layers and effects
• Four-zone MIDI Master controller function
• CK OS v2.0 support, adding new electric piano sounds, Live Sets and an Advanced Split Mode

In practical use, the built-in speakers and battery operation allow playing without external amplification. Yamaha states up to five hours on rechargeable batteries or up to three hours on alkaline batteries (batteries not included). Connectivity includes Bluetooth audio input, a stereo USB audio interface for computers and iOS devices, and MIDI In/Out. The A/D input accepts a microphone or another instrument for processing and recording to a computer.
