Yamaha RS02CB Revstar Chris Buck Signature - Honey Gold

The Yamaha RS02CB is a signature electric guitar developed in close collaboration with internationally acclaimed guitarist Chris Buck, faithfully recreating the custom Revstar that has defined his sound since 2020. Suited to players who value dynamic, touch-sensitive tone with a warm, organic character, the RS02CB brings a professional-grade instrument — previously exclusive to a single custom build — within reach of every guitarist.

At the core of the RS02CB are specially voiced P90 style pickups, developed with Chris Buck through careful refinement of coil windings and magnet selection. The pickups are tuned for slightly lower output, delivering clear, detailed response at lower volumes and a strong, open tone when driven. The body is constructed from chambered maple and mahogany using Yamaha's Acoustic Design process, which enhances resonance while reducing overall weight. A TonePros AVT2 wraparound bridge maximises string-to-body contact for direct resonance transfer, and the three-piece mahogany neck is carbon-reinforced for long-term strength and stability. Aesthetically, the guitar features the iconic Honey Gold top finish, amber hat knobs, stylish inlays, and Chris Buck's signature on the back of the headstock. A deluxe gig bag is included.

The RS02CB is well suited to gigging and recording guitarists who require a balanced, resonant instrument with a wide natural dynamic range. The chambered body construction keeps the guitar comfortable for extended play, while the carbon-reinforced neck ensures consistency across varying environmental conditions.
