The Zoom G2X FOUR is a compact multi-effects pedal and amp simulator designed for guitarists who want a wide range of tones in a pedalboard-friendly format. Built around Zoom's new amp modelling technology and Multi-Layer IR cabinet simulation, the G2X FOUR suits players at any level — from those practising at home to performers integrating it into an existing live rig. It distinguishes itself from the standard G2 FOUR with the addition of a built-in expression pedal, enabling real-time control over volume swells, wah effects, and more without the need for an external accessory.

The G2X FOUR comes loaded with over 100 effects including classic spring reverbs, modulations, wah, and extreme distortions, with up to 7 effects combinable in a single patch. It ships with 250 presets that trace the evolution of guitar tone from the 1950s to the present day, each recreating an iconic song's sound. Amp models include Zoom's own original designs — such as Krampus, Redloom, Velvet, Muddy, 7 Heaven, and Pollex Thump — alongside reproductions of classic amps, all paired with Multi-Layer IR cabinet models captured at three different volumes and blended dynamically based on guitar input level. Navigation is handled via cross-key footswitches and four rotary encoders, and the redesigned user interface simplifies editing, reordering effects chains, and accessing the built-in looper and tuner. An 80-second looper and a rhythm machine with 68 beats are also included. Additional effects are available through the Handy Guitar Lab for G2 FOUR app (iOS and Android), with 57 extra effects added since launch.

The G2X FOUR connects to guitar amps, studio monitors, PA systems, and headphones, with LINE or AMP output modes selectable on power-up to optimise the signal for the connected setup. USB connectivity allows it to function as an audio interface for recording directly to a computer or smartphone. Its compact dimensions make it practical for integration into an existing pedalboard. The unit ships with an AD-16 AC adapter included in the box.
