Squier Sonic Bronco Bass, Maple Fingerboard, Arctic White

The Squier Sonic Bronco Bass is a short-scale electric bass suited to beginners, younger players, and guitarists making the transition to bass. Its lightweight poplar body and compact 30" scale length make it physically approachable, while the Squier single-coil pickup and simple volume and tone controls keep things straightforward for players at any level. The Arctic White finish with a white pickguard gives the instrument a clean, classic look.

The Bronco Bass features a maple neck with a comfortable "C"-shaped profile and a 1.5" nut width, paired with a maple fingerboard carrying 19 narrow-tall frets and black dot inlays. The 9.5" fingerboard radius and satin urethane neck finish contribute to a smooth playing feel. Electronics are kept simple: a ceramic single-coil pickup at the neck position feeds into master volume and master tone controls with no switching required. The 4-saddle hardtail bridge allows for individual intonation adjustment per string, while sealed die-cast tuning machines provide reliable, stable tuning.

The 30" scale length reduces overall string tension compared to a full-scale bass, which can ease fretting and bending for those with smaller hands or less hand strength. Hardware throughout is chrome-plated, and the body carries a gloss polyurethane finish for durability. The instrument ships strung with nickel-plated steel strings (.045–.105 gauges).
