The Squier Sonic Telecaster is a solid-body electric guitar finished in Canary Yellow with a white pickguard, offering classic Telecaster styling at an accessible price point. Built in Indonesia, it suits beginners, students and players looking for a reliable everyday instrument with genuine Fender-inspired pedigree. The lightweight poplar body and slim "C"-shaped maple neck keep the guitar comfortable for extended practice sessions, lessons and first performances.

Two ceramic single-coil pickups deliver bright, clear Telecaster tone well suited to rock, country, blues, pop and indie styles. Pickup selection is handled by a 3-position blade switch offering bridge, bridge-and-neck, and neck positions, while a master volume and master tone control keep the layout simple and approachable. The 6-saddle top-load Telecaster bridge with block saddles allows individual string height and intonation adjustment, and the sealed die-cast tuning machines provide smooth, reliable tuning stability. Chrome hardware and a 1-ply white pickguard complete the classic Tele aesthetic.

The Indian laurel fingerboard features a 9.5" radius and 21 narrow tall frets across a standard 25.5" (648 mm) scale length, delivering a familiar playing feel for chord work, riffs and single-note lines. The synthetic bone nut (1.650"/42 mm wide) and satin urethane neck finish contribute to comfortable fretting and smooth neck feel. Factory-strung with nickel plated steel .009–.042 gauge strings, the guitar is ready to play straight out of the box.
